Hello friends!
I'm back with another edition of Tuesday Tips with the Etsy Gift Guide Bloggers group. This week's topic is product pricing.
I'm no expert when it comes to pricing, but I do have one very important rule. Selling an item is not more important than making a profit on it. Value your work. Value your time. Don't sell yourself short just to make your shop look busy. It isn't worth it. I know this is hard, especially if you are just starting out or feel like you aren't getting anywhere with your shop, but trust me. Customers will come to your shop. You just need to find your niche and work on your titles, tags, and photos. :)
That being said, I generally try to sell things in my shop that seem reasonable for a customer to be willing to pay my prices. If I make something and realize that the price I put on it and what I think customers will pay are vastly different, I reconsider putting it in my shop. Sometimes with handmade items, it is hard to find the right items to sell.
If you have any tips for product pricing, I would love to hear them! Leave me a comment. :)
Here are a few fun projects I have been working on!
That's it from me! Have a great Tuesday. :)

Thank you for sharing these tips. Pricing is always one of the hardest parts of selling an item, at least for me. I also love that beach notebook, it reminds me of summer.
