Etsy Gift Guide - Tuesday Tips: Facebook

Hello friends!

I'm back again with another Tuesday Tips for the Etsy Gift Guide Bloggers group. This week our topic is marketing with Facebook.

I'm not an expert on Facebook marketing. In fact, I would say that Facebook is the hardest platform that I use to figure out. Getting regular interaction on Facebook has been much more difficult than for Instagram or Pinterest, but I'll do my best to share some tips.

The first tip that I have is to post regularly. The more you post, the more likely people will see your page. That being said, don't just spam your products all day long. Try to post quotes or other fun things in between your product posts. I'm not the best at this, but I do try to break things up when I can.

It is also helpful to have your shop logo and banner on your Facebook page so that it is easy for people to see that your page is associated with your shop. I also have the "shop now" button at the top of my page linked directly to my shop so customers can easily get there from Facebook. :)

The next tip is to join Etsy groups that are geared toward helping sellers improve their shops. This is a great way to get tips on what you can improve in your shop and with your social media marketing.

Another tip is to not play follow/like games in Facebook groups. This actually hurts your shop because it messes with your conversion rate, and when Etsy sees that a lot of people are looking at your item but not buying it, they think that it is an item people don't like, and it won't show up as much in search.

Those are all the tips I have. I'm still learning more about Facebook marketing. If you have any tips, leave a comment below.

Have a great night.

Kelsey
