Hello!
I am back today with a few projects that I made using products from the new Spellbinders Suzanne Hue Texture and Foliage Collection.
Here is the first card:

I started by creating a fun background in autumn colors. I trimmed a piece of Bristol cardstock to 4" x 5.25" in size. I then used Spiced Marmalade and Barn Door Distress Inks on my glass media mat to do some ink smooshing on the paper. I applied ink to the glass media mat and spritzed it with a mini mister and then dipped my cardstock in it until I was satisfied with the color. I set the panel aside to dry.
As the panel was drying, I die cut the branches and sentiment using the new Spellbinders Autumn Greetings Wreath die set using my Sizzix Big Shot and magic mat.
After the background was dry, I glued it flat to a white A2 card base using Art Glitter Glue. I then arranged the branches and sentiment on it and glued them down. To finish the card, I added some Spellbinders Woodland Tales gems.
That's it for the first card.
Here is the second:

I started by die cutting a rectangle from Bee Inspired Watercolor Paper using the Spellbinders Bow and Bell Scallop Frame set. I then used my MISTI and Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink to stamp the mouse and sentiment from the Spellbinders House Mouse Hats Off to You! stamp set.
I also die cut some leaves using the Spellbinders Autumn Greetings Wreath die set.
After the ink dried, I used a number 2 round brush and Grabie watercolor paints to paint the scene and the die cut leaves. Specific colors are below:
Die Cut Leaves: Permanent Yellow, Orange Yellow, Orange, Orange Red, and Vermillion
Oak Leaf: Vermilion
Acorn Tops: Vandyke Brown
Acorn: Brown
Mouse Face/Tail//Feet: Beige
Mouse Fur: Grey
Ground: Olive Green
Sky: Sky Blue
As the panel was drying, I worked on the rest of the card. I cut a dark brown scalloped rectangle using the Bow and Bell Scallop Frame die set. I also used the Spellbinders Dimpled 3D embossing folder to emboss a background layer from red cardstock.
I assembled all of the layers on a white A2 card base and glued them flat.
That's it! I hope you enjoyed both cards and are inspired to create.
Happy crafting!
Kelsey
