Spellbinders Summer Solstice Garden Cosmos

Hello!

Today I am sharing this pair of cards that I made using the new release from Spellbinders.

Here is the first card:

I used the new Spellbinders Cosmos Etched dies and my Sizzix Big Shot and magic mat to cut out some florals and leaves from pink, green, and brown cardstock scraps. I then used Kat Scrappiness mini blending brushes and Picked Raspberry and Peeled Paint Distress Inks to add some shading.

I sprayed a white A2 card base with Imagine Sheer Shimmer Craft Spray in the Rose Gold color and let it dry. After it dried, I arranged the layers of the cosmos flower how I wanted them and glued them down with Art Glitter Glue. I stamped the sentiment from the Honey Bee Stamps Be Still stamp set using Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink in the upper right corner to finish the card.

Here is the second card:

I repeated the same process to create the flowers and then arranged them at the top of an A2 white card base. After gluing the layers down, I used the same Honey Bee Stamps stamp set to stamp "birthday wishes" at the bottom of the card. I finished it off by adding some Studio Katia Onyx crystals (retired).
