Hello!
Today I am sharing this fun card I made using some products from Spellbinders.
I started by cutting a piece of dark blue cardstock to 4.25" x 5.5" to use as my base. I just used a piece from my stash, but any dark blue cardstock that you have would work for this.
Next, I took out my Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil Machine and turned it on so it would be ready for me to use. While it was heating up I took out the Seahorse Floral Hot Foil Plate and Die Set and selected the seahorse image. I then cut a piece of Teal Glimmer Foil to size. When the machine was hot, I placed the foil plate on the machine and pressed the timer button. When the timer went off, I placed the foil on the plate pretty side down, added, disengaged the base from the machine, then placed my cardstock and shims on top. I then ran it through my Sizzix Big Shot Machine. I peeled the foil off the plate and used my tweezers to set it aside to cool down. I repeated this process with another piece of the dark blue cardstock and the "thanks" plate.
I then trimmed my cardstock panel down to 4" x 5.25" and glued it to a white A2 card base using my Art Glitter Glue. I had a little bit of over foiling, so I used a sand eraser to remove some of the extra foil. I used the coordinating die for the "thanks" sentiment and cut out my foiled piece as well as 4 extra dark blue pieces to glue behind it for dimension. I glued the sentiment to the bottom right corner of the card.
Finally, I accented the card with some Kat Scrappiness Carribean Blue Pearls, which I attached with Art Glitter Glue.
That's it! I hope you enjoyed the card and are inspired to do some crafting.
Happy crafting!
Kelsey
