Hello!
I am sharing this fun full front shaker card that I made using products from Spellbinders.

I started by heating up my Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System. I placed the seahorse plate from the Spellbinders Seahorse Floral hot foil plate and die set onto the platform as it was heating up. I then trimmed a piece of Bee Inspired Watercolor paper down to 4.25" x 5.5" using my Tim Holtz Guillotine Trimmer. I trimmed a piece of Teal Glimmer Foil to be slightly larger than my watercolor paper panel. After the light turned on telling me that the platform was ready, I placed the foil and paper on the plate with the pretty side of the foil touching the foil plate. I then pushed the timer button. When the timer went off, I placed the shim and plate on top, detached the platform, and ran the whole piece through my Sizzix Big Shot machine.
To create the sentiment, I used the same foil and paper and the "thanks" plate that is in the Seahorse Floral set. I used the coordinating die and my Big Shot and magic mat to cut it out.
I colored the panel using Grabie watercolor paints and a number 2 round brush.
Specific colors:
Leaves/greenery: Deep Jungle Green, Emerald, and Dolphins Aqua
Seahorse and flower center: Sangria Red
Flower petals: Macaron Rose
Shells: Macaron Khaki and Stone Gray
Background/sentiment: Macaron Powder Blue
After the panel was dry, I created the full front shaker pouch. I cut a piece of plastic packaging slightly larger than my panel. I like to use packaging from stickers and stamp sets to save it from going into the trash. I flipped the panel to the back and put 1/8" score tape around all four edges. I then removed three of the backing pieces and laid the panel on top of the packaging with the painted side touching it. I folded the edges of the plastic over and pressed them into the score tape. Next, I filled the pouch with some sequins and then closed up the rest of the panel. I trimmed the excess plastic from the corners using my scissors.
I glued the whole panel to a white A2 card base using a combination of the score tape and Art Glitter Glue. To finish the card, I glued the sentiment to the bottom right corner using Art Glitter Glue.
That's it! I hope you enjoyed the card and are inspired to create. I also wanted to let you know that Spellbinders is having a Glimmer and Press Fest sale where you can save up to 30% off select BetterPress and Glimmer products, including the Seahorse Floral set that I used in this card. You can shop the sale here.
Happy crafting!
