Spellbinders Painted Blooms and Clearance Sale

Writer's picture: Kelsey Thomas Kelsey Thomas

Hello!

Today I am sharing this fun card I made using the Spellbinders Painted Blooms die set. I also wanted to tell you about the clearance sale that Spellbinders is having. The sale started today, February 6th, and goes until February 9th. There are a ton of fun products included in the sale, including this die set!

I cut out all of the pieces from the Painted Blooms die set using my Sizzix Big Shot Machine and magic mat from white cardstock. Some of the pieces, like the leaves, flowers, and bristles, were cut out several times so I had enough pieces.

I used some regular sized and small blending brushes to color the different pieces using Distress inks. The colors that I used are: Peeled Paint, Cracked Pistachio, Mowed Lawn, Vintage Photo, Picked Raspberry, Pumice Stone, Fossilized Amber, and Walnut Stain.

I used my BetterPress Letterpress Machine and the plate and ink that came with the machine to make the sentiment and then fussy cut it.

The background was made by running the Altenew Organic Linen 3D embossing folder through my die cut machine.

I arranged all of the pieces on my panel and glued them down with Art Glitter Glue. I trimmed off the part of the paint brush that was hanging off the edge of the card. I then attached the panel to a green A2 card base to complete my card.

That's it! I hope you liked the card and are inspired to create! Don't forget to check out the Spellbinders sale. There are lots of fun products at amazing prices!

Happy crafting!

Kelsey
