Spellbinders Memo Splatter

Hello!

Today I am sharing a project that I made using products from the new Spellbinders release.

To create this card, I used my Tim Holtz Guillotine Trimmer to cut a piece of Canson watercolor paper down to 4.25" x 5.5" in size. I then placed the Spellbinders Memo Splatter BetterPress plate on my BetterPress LetterPress platform and inked it up using Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink. I taped the watercolor cardstock to the top plate, placed it on the platform, and then ran it through my Sizzix Big Shot Machine.

I let the ink dry and then used Lindy's Starburst Spray in Prima Donna Purple and Dylusions Ink Sprays in Bubblegum Pink and Vibrant Turquoise to add some fun splatters over the background panel. After it was dry, I then trimmed it down to 4" x 5.25" in size.

I created the sentiment for the card using the Spellbinders Summer Solstice Garden Sentiments BetterPress plate using the same Altenew ink. I then cut out the sentiments using the coordinating die. The sentiment that I chose reads "It is the artist's business to create sunshine when the sun fails. - Romain Rolland."

I glued the watercolor panel to a Spellbinders Teal Topaz A2 card base using Art Glitter Glue and then centered the sentiment on the card.

That's it! I hope you enjoyed the card and are inspired to create. I also hope you will head on over to the Spellbinders' website to check out the new release. I will be back again with some more inspiration soon using products from the release.

Happy crafting!
