Spellbinders Echinacea (Cone Flower)

Hello!

I am back again today with another card that I made using new products from Spellbinders.

I started by cutting an olive colored piece of cardstock down to 4" x 5.25" using my Tim Holtz Guillotine Trimmer. I then used the Spellbinders Stylized Calla Lily embossing folder to add some texture.

Next, I die cut the flowers and leaves from the Spellbinder Echinacea die set from pink, green, and brown cardstock using my Sizzix Big Shot machine and magic mat. I added some shading to the petals and leaves using blending brushes and pink and green inks from my stash that worked well with the cardstock colors.

I then took the Spellbinders Scallop and Stitched Edge Oval dies and cut out a place for my sentiment and flower to sit. I stamped the "thinking of you" from the Spellbinders Propagation Garden Sentiments set (retired) using Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink. I then stamped the bubbles from the same stamp set using the pink ink I used earlier.

I arranged the elements on my embossed background panel and glued them down using Art Glitter Glue. I then glued the panel to a white A2 card base. I finished off the card by adding some Kat Scrappiness Gold Pearls.

That's it! I hope you enjoyed the card and are inspired to check out the new release.

Happy crafting!
