Spellbinders Cosmos

Hello!
I am back again with another card made with products from the new release from Spellbinders.

To make this card, I used the Spellbinders Cosmos Etched Dies and die cut several flowers and leaves from some peach, brown, and green cardstock scraps. I then used Poppy Red and Pale Vermilion Prismacolor pencils to add some detail to the petals. I used a small blending brush from Kat Scrappiness and Peeled Paint Distress Ink to add some shading to the leaves as well. I glued the layers of the flowers together using Art Glitter Glue and set them aside to prepare the rest of the card.
I used my Tim Holtz Guillotine Trimmer to cut an olive colored panel for the background and added some Peeled Paint ink around the edges for some contrast. I attached the panel to a white A2 card base using Art Glitter Glue and then arranged my leaves and flowers to the background how I wanted them to be placed. To accent the center of the flowers, I glued Kat Scrappiness Gold Pearls to them.
The sentiment is from the Spellbinders Summer Solstice Garden Sentiments BetterPress plate/die set. I used my BetterPress LetterPress system and Sizzix Big Shot machine to create the sentiments and die cut them out. I inked up the plate using Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink. I glued the sentiment flat in the upper left of the card.
That's it! I hope you enjoyed the card and are inspired to create. I also encourage you to head over to the Spellbinders website and check out the new release.
Happy crafting!
Kelsey
