Spellbinders Cherry Blossoms

Hello!
I am sharing this card that I made using products from the new release from Spellbinders.

I used the Spellbinders Floral Fans 3D embossing folder and my Sizzix Big Shot Machine to emboss a piece of white Neenah cardstock. I then used a blending brush and Picked Raspberry Distress Ink to add some color to the background.
Next, I created the cherry blossoms using the Spellbinders Cherry Blossoms BetterPress plates and my BetterPress LetterPress system and Bee Inspired watercolor paper. I used the BetterPress black ink. I then watercolored the flowers using my Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Pencils and a number 2 round brush. These are the specific colors that I used: Walnut Stain, Vintage Photo, Rustic Wilderness, Peeled Paint, Picked Raspberry, and Kitsch Flamingo (sets 1, 2, and 3). After the watercolor dried, I used a Clear Star Gelly Roll pen to add some sparkle to the stamens of the flowers and the I used the coordinating dies to cut it out using my Big Shot and magic mat.
To create somewhere for the flowers to sit on the card, I used the Spellbinders Scallop and Stitched Edge Oval dies to cut a fun stitched oval.
To create the sentiment, I took a piece of white cardstock and Hero Arts Cotton Candy ink directly to the paper to get a nice pink cardstock to match the card. I then used the "bloom where you are" sentiment from the Cherry Blossoms dies to cut out the sentiment for the card.
I arranged all of my card elements on an A2 white card base and glued everything down with Art Glitter Glue.
That's it! I hope you enjoyed the card and are inspired to create. I also encourage you to head over to the Spellbinders website to check out the new release.
Happy crafting!
Kelsey
