Polka Dot Orchard Never Stop Smiling

Hello!
I am sharing my latest design team project for Polka Dot Orchard.

I printed out the feather digital stamp from the Never Stop Smiling set onto white cardstock and trimmed it down to 4" x 5.25" using my Tim Holtz Guillotine Trimmer.
Next, I used Picket Fence Studios Paper Pouncers and Tumbled Glass, Milled Lavender, and Worn Lipstick Distress Inks to add some color to the paper as a sort of "underpainting."
I then used my Prismacolor colored pencils to color in the image following the colors that were in the background. Specific colors:
Rachis of feather: Black, 90% Cool Grey, and 70% Cool Grey
Pinks: Pomegranate, Magenta, and Pink
Purples: Dioxazine Purple Hue, Parma Violet, and Amethyst (Lilac is the old color)
Blues: Indigo Blue, Denim Blue, and Mediterranean Blue
I fussy cut around the sentiment "never stop smiling" that is from the same set.
I glued the background panel and sentiment to a white A2 card base using Art Glitter Glue.
That's it! I hope you enjoyed the card and are inspired to create.
Happy crafting!
Kelsey

**I use my Epson EcoTank ET-2800 printer for printing my digital stamps and print them out on cardstock. Please note: If you want to do watercolor techniques with your digital images, you will have to print them using a laser printer instead of an ink jet, as that ink is not waterproof.
