Hello!
Today I am sharing some fun cards I made using digital stamps from Polka Dot Orchard for the Coffee Loving Card Makers blog hop!
Card 1:
For the first card, I used the Sack of Beans set for the main image. I printed the sack of beans and the sentiment on white cardstock and colored the sack with Prismacolor colored pencils. I fussy cut the image and trimmed down the sentiment. I used Vintage Photo Distress Ink on the edges of the sentiment to make it stand out from the background. The background is from the Choose Happy digital background set. I printed it on a cream colored cardstock, trimmed it down, and distressed the edges with the Vintage Photo ink. I added the sack and sentiment to the background panel and attached the whole thing to a blue A2 sized card base.
Card 2:
For the second card, I again used the Choose Happy set for the background, but this time printed it on a brown cardstock. For the coffee bean heart and sentiment, I used the He Said Coffee set. I colored the heart using Prismacolor colored pencils and fussy cut it. I glued it on to red cardstock and cut around it again to give it a border. The sentiment strip was distressed using Vintage Photo ink to make it stand out more. The entire panel was attached to a red A2 card base.
Card 3:
For my third card, I used the Gnome Talkie Before Coffee set for the cute gnome image and sentiment. I colored the gnome and coffee mug with Prismacolor colored pencils and fussy cut the image. The sentiment was trimmed and distressed with Vintage Photo ink. The background is one that I pulled from my stash of backgrounds, so I have no clue what embossing folder I had used, but I liked that the purple matched and the flowers were cute, so I went with it. :) I attached the entire panel to a white A2 card base.
Card 4:
For my next card, I used this super cute image from the Pumpkin Spice Mice set and colored it with Prismacolor colored pencils. The sentiment is from the stamp set. I again used the Choose Happy background for this card and used Vintage Photo ink to distress the background panel and sentiment. The entire panel was attached too a speckled cream A2 card base.
Card 5:
For my next card, I used these cute gnomes from the Gnome Matter What set. I colored them in with Prismacolor colored pencils and fussy cut them out. The sentiment is from the same set and was distressed with Vintage Photo ink. I attached them to a piece of brick wall patterned paper and attached the whole panel to a pink A2 card base.
Card 6:
For this card, I used the image and sentiment from the Warm the Soul set. I colored it with Prismacolor colored pencils and attached it to a Choose Happy panel. The whole thing was attached to a blue A2 card base.
Card 7:
This is the last one! For this one, I used this fun image and sentiment from the Happy Together set. I colored it in using Prismacolor colored pencils and fussy cut both the image and sentiment. Again, I chose the background from my stash, so I don't remember what products were used to create it, but the blue matched the straw color, so I thought it went nicely with this card. I attached the whole panel to a blue A2 card base.
Whew! That was a lot of cards, but I had so much fun creating them and playing along with the coffee lovers hop! I encourage you to check it out and make some cards too. There are lots of fun prizes!
Happy crafting!
