Kat Scrappiness Sassy Chickens and The Hen House Dies

Hello!

Today I am sharing this fun chicken card that I made using new products from Kat Scrappiness.

I started by stamping the fun chicken from the Kat Scrappiness Sassy Chickens stamp set onto Bee Inspired Watercolor Paper using Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink and an acrylic block. I also stamped the sentiment on a scrap and set both aside for the ink to dry. The sentiment says "Happy birthday chick!"

Next, I die cut the pieces from the Kat Scrappiness Hen House die set on the same watercolor paper. using my Sizzix Big Shot Machine and magic mat. The background panel was die cut using the Kat Scrappiness Stitched Postage Stamp Edge Rectangle die set using the same watercolor paper.

I used my Grabie watercolor paints and a number 2 round and number 3 quill brush (any larger round brush will work - I like this set) to paint all of the elements of the card.

After everything was painted and dried, I got to work assembling the card. I used my scissors to fussy cut around the chicken and then arranged him inside the hen house. All parts of the card were glued down using Art Glitter Glue and then the whole panel was added to a white A2 card base.

That's it! I hope you enjoyed the card and are inspired to create.

Happy crafting!
