Hello!
I am back with another card featuring a digital stamp set from Polka Dot Orchard.

I started by printing the image and sentiment from the Polka Dot Orchard Life is a Grand Adventure digital stamp set onto white cardstock. I then used my Prismacolor colored pencils to color the image. Specific colors will be listed below. When I was done coloring, I fussy cut around the image and sentiment using my scissors.
Pooh: Sunburst Yellow, Canary Yellow, and Deco Yellow
Suitcase: Dark Umber, Dark Brown, and Light Umber
Umbrella: 30% Warm Grey, 20% Warm Grey, 10% Warm Grey, Crimson Lake, Crimson Red, and Carmine Red
Next, I trimmed a piece of Bee Inspired watercolor paper to 4" x 5.25" in size. I then used my Spellbinders The Hundred Acre Wood Press and Foil Plate and Polished Brass Glimmer Foil to foil the background using my Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System and Sizzix Big Shot. I wanted to have some fun foil in my background, which is why I used the press plate. If you don't have a Glimmer Hot Foil System, you can get a similar look using the Polka Dot Orchard Hundred Akre Wood Map digital stamp set. If you have a laser printer, you can even do foiling with it!
I then did some ink smooshing with Peeled Paint and Vintage Photo Distress Inks to add some color to my background.
I used some retired My Favorite Things cloud dies to die cut some clouds for my card. I used the Stitched Cloud Edges and Stitched Clouds sets.
To assemble my card, I first glued Pooh to the map panel. I trimmed off the excess portions of the umbrella. I then arranged my clouds around him so that it looked like he was floating through the clouds. I inked around the sentiment with Vintage Photo ink so it would stand out from the clouds and then glued it flat to the card using Art Glitter Glue. I glued the whole panel to a white A2 card base.
To add some finishing sparkle to the card, I used Kat Scrappiness Rainbow Glitter Mousse to make the clouds glittery.
That's it! I hope you enjoyed the card and are inspired to create.
Happy crafting!
Kelsey
