Polka Dot Orchard Have Faith in His Love

Hello!

I am back with another card featuring products from Polka Dot Orchard.

I printed the image and sentiment from the Polka Dot Orchard Have Faith in His Love digital stamp set onto white cardstock. The sentiment reads "Life is better with a friend like you." I then colored it using Prismacolor colored pencils. Specific colors are below:

• Leaves: Dark Green, Apple Green, Spring Green, and Chartreuse

• Flowers: Pomegranate, Process Red, Hot Pink, Blush Pink, Yellowed Orange, and Sunburst Yellow

• Dragonflies: Yellowed Orange, Sunburst Yellow, and Black

After coloring the image, I used a blending brush and Peacock Feathers Distress Ink to add some blue to the background for water. Since the colored pencils are waxy, I was able to ink directly over top of them and buff off the ink with a cloth.

I then trimmed the panel down to neaten the edges. To add some more interest, I added some white details with a white Gelly Roll pen.

I matted the colored panel on black cardstock and glued the whole panel to a teal A2 card base using Art Glitter Glue.
