Hello!
I'm back with another project featuring products from Polka Dot Orchard.

I started by creating a background using the Polka Dot Orchard Bugs and Kisses digital stamp set and a photo editing program. I use GIMP, but feel free to use whatever program you like. I wanted a bug patterned paper for this card, and the bugs in this digital stamp set were perfect for what I wanted. I printed the background onto kraft cardstock.
Next, I printed the ladybug and sentiment from the same set onto white cardstock. The sentiment reads "Heard you caught a bug... maybe you should let it go!"
I colored the ladybug using Prismacolor colored pencils. Specific colors are below:
Black Elements: Black, 90% French Grey, and 70% French Grey
Red Elements: Crimson Lake, Crimson Red, and Carmine Red
I fussy cut around the bug and sentiment using my scissors.
Next, I used the Kat Scrappiness Stitched Postage Stamp Edge Rectangle dies to cut the bug patterned paper using my Sizzix Big Shot and magic mat. I then used a foam blending tool and Vintage Photo Distress Ink to ink around the bug panel and the sentiment.
To create a background piece, I trimmed a piece of red cardstock to 4" x 5.25" in size and embossed it using the Spellbinders Crackle Paint 3D embossing folder.
I glued all of my elements to a white A2 card base using Art Glitter Glue and accented the card with some red gems from my stash.
That's it! I hope you enjoyed the card and are inspired to create.
Happy crafting!
Kelsey
