I'm back again with another Thursday Throwdown for the Etsy Gift Guide Bloggers group. This week our topic is physical books vs. e-books vs. audio books.
I prefer physical books. There is just something that is lost when reading on a screen as opposed to the experience of holding an actual book. You also don't have to worry about your battery life when reading a physical book! :) I also am not a big fan of audio books for a few reasons: a) I get distracted too easily when just listening and miss out on big chunks of the story, b) I like being able to imagine character's voices and personalities and bring life to them as I'm reading, and you lose that when you are listening to someone else read to you.
